About Me, My Work, and What Therapy with Me Looks Like

Hi there! My name is Chloé and I am so grateful to be a part of the Autumn Counseling team. I’ve been lucky enough to know the team for almost two years now! I began supervision with Brittany back in 2024 after I moved from North Carolina to Houston and started working as a therapist at a local private practice. It was in that role that I began to fall in love with the private practice space and further deepened my passion for relational therapeutic work. During that time, I received my EMDR training (a personal favorite modality) and expanded my knowledge and experience in somatic work.

This summer (2026), my partner and I packed up and moved to Austin, I joined the Autumn Counseling team and continued clinical supervision with Brittany. It’s truly an honor working with a team as brilliant as these individuals!

My practice is fully remote, conducting sessions via Telehealth, and expands across all of Texas. I’m really grateful for the opportunity to be fully remote as I explore other passions of mine, including my yoga teacher training and herbalism certification, that I hope to one day weave into my therapeutic work with clients. While I do not accept insurance, I do offer a sliding scale for some clients when possible.

My Approach

My therapeutic lens is a relational one—I am primarily a trauma therapist, more specifically, a relational-trauma therapist. My work is grounded in a body-based, trauma-informed approach that honors the wisdom of the nervous system, psyche, and emotional body.

Together, we explore the long-held patterns, trauma wounds, unconscious beliefs, and protective identities that once helped you survive but may now be keeping you from living fully. I incorporate a variety of modalities, including but not limited to:

  • eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR),

  • somatic sensing,

  • parts work (IFS),

  • emotionally focused therapy (EFT),

  • psychodynamic,

  • mindfulness and breathwork.

My Ideal Client

My approach does not tailor itself to one kind of person or issue, though I do specialize in working with specific populations and presenting concerns. Here’s a non-exhaustive list of the issues and populations I’ve worked with the most:

  • Individuals who’ve experienced sexual abuse, violence, or repeated boundary violations in their sexual and physical experiences

  • Women and female-identifying individuals, though I work across the gender spectrum and advocate for an expansive understanding of gender and expression

  • Those who struggle or have struggled with substance use, numbing behaviors, or trauma associated with the impacts of substance use

  • The dysregulated nervous system—chronic fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses—a nervous system that is stuck in a trauma response

  • Individuals looking to re-establish connection with their physical body in a mindful and intentional way, understanding its cues, sensations, and stories

  • Those that feel disconnected or want to deepen their relationship to their emotional body and its vast landscape
